Your images stay on your device. HDR Spotlight processes them in your browser, without uploading them to a server.
Who runs Spotlight
HDR Spotlight at hdrspotlight.com is a free image tool operated by Anton Sizov. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the website.
Your images and exports
Images you select, drop, or paste are decoded and processed locally in your browser. We do not receive or store your source images or generated exports, and do not use them to train AI models. The app does not keep your editing session in persistent storage. Downloads you save remain on your device until you delete them.
Cookies and analytics
The application does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. There are no accounts or advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
Storage on your device
When you choose a light or dark theme, the app saves that preference in your browser’s local storage under spotlight.theme. Choosing the system theme removes that saved preference. This setting is not sent to us.
A service worker may cache the application’s code, fonts, and other static assets so the app can load again and support offline use. It does not cache your selected images or exports. You can remove the saved preference and cached files through your browser’s site-data settings.
Hosting and Cloudflare
The website runs on a VPS managed by Anton Sizov and uses Cloudflare for website delivery and protection. Requests pass through this infrastructure, which processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, and browser details. Operational and security logs may be kept to maintain the service, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. Your selected images and exports are not included in these requests.
Depending on the protection features in use, Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies, such as a cookie recording that a security challenge was passed. These are separate from the application, which sets no cookies of its own. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and Privacy Policy for its handling of technical data, retention, and international transfers. Cloudflare may process data outside your country.
Purposes and retention
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, technical information is processed for our legitimate interests in delivering and securing the website. Information you send by email is used to respond to your inquiry, resolve issues, and handle requests. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for those purposes or to meet applicable legal obligations. Technical-log retention depends on the server and Cloudflare service settings; contact us for details about information relevant to your request.
Questions and your choices
You control the images and downloads on your device and can clear this website’s local data in your browser. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include and use them to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive images with a privacy inquiry.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, to object to processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority. We cannot retrieve your locally processed images because they are not sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If the way the app handles information changes, this page will be updated with a new revision date.
